It is best to fly to the airport “Sabiha Gökçen” (SAW) on the Asia-side of Istanbul. The main airport in Europe (IST) is also possible, though farther away.
From airport to the dharma sah (or hotel):
Tell the driver to drive to:
Mehmet Şengün Sokak No 2/D15
Fenerbahçe – İstanbul
Tell the cab driver: “Fenerbahçe”, pronounced “Fenerbachtsche”
With the address he will find it. Otherwise he can call me (+90 543 9654177).
From IST airport it takes about 1-1.5h, from SAW (Sabiha Gökçen) about 45min-1h
Taxi costs: from IST about 25€, from SAW about 15€.
There are black, blue and orange-yellow cabs.
The most common and cheapest (prices above) are the orange-yellow cabs.
The blue ones are 15%, the black ones 70% more expensive.
Upon arrival to the address press the bell no 15, we open. Then go to the 7th floor.
You need to have enough Turkish Lira with you for the taxi. It is possible to draw it from the ATM in the airport. Usually exchange offices in the airport are not a good deal.
Later, you can either change cash (close to the Dharma Sah) or draw more from the ATMs.
